[That all escalated very quickly, but he has no complaints for how that conversation went. Staring at his phone for a moment, vaguely wondering if that meant Prompto was going to come here to his hotel room or not? Or... somewhere else? It was a little unclear and he was far too lazy to double check right now, having flopped back on his bed, deliberating the ceiling.

...Was this really a date?

He's never been on one or instigated..... one? What was even the word for that?

His stomach felt weird. Fluttery and warm. He kept thinking of Prompto's dumb smile and how his freckles really popped when he got flustered or excited. He really was pretty, but Noctis never had the opportunity to act on it? Or he didn't think that it would be mutual so why waste his time?

Groaning softly as he finally gets to his feet, hand dipping under his shirt to scratch lazily at his stomach as he shuffles into the bathroom to freshen up before Prompto gets here.

[Prompto flails a bit but does hold on to Noct, laughing nervously]

[And then Noct drops him on the sheets, and Prompto pulls the prince down with him instinctively, landing with Noct's face buried in his chest]

[The most undignified squawking as he's pulled down with him, trying to brace himself by pressing his palms against the bed. Huffing out a sound against Prompto's chest, slowly lifting his head.]

["What Prompto will do" turns out to be "shudder and flinch but not stop Noct". He can't really reach Noct's shirt hem from this angle, not well enough to do anything anyway, so he just reaches for the prince's pants, unbuttoning the waist and trying to get the zipper down.

[He frowns, confused as heck, before it hits him and he turns a violent shade of red]
